The USB connections in the base are so useful for other devices and extend the use of my laptops to accomodate wireless keyboards and a wireless mouse, WD passport and flash drives. [ 4.0 stars ] "The short answer is I'm pretty happy with it. Although I would prefer if it would raise/lower straight vertically instead of tilting to achieve the effect, it does the job. The MacBook (Pro) screen doesn't tilt back far enough to use the highest/steepest setting, but with the base unit height the next-highest setting is good for me.
