Later I lent it to a friend who scanned around 1000 slides, and he let a friend borrow it to scan a few hundres more slides. That's three users very satisfied with the scanner. But when it came to color scans, the unit over-exposed many of them. Once you lose over-exposed 'photo data', there is NO way to get it back.
