Tacking the pieces together is usually done to hold it together before welding it properly........there is no welding on these units. The top glass is very thin 3/16", and there is a warning that it will only hold a maximum of 25lbs. The whole table was very damaged on arrival and it appears that this box was opened and re-se ..."
